Mother Moo Creamery specializes in small batch, homemade ice cream using locally sourced ingredients all grown within miles from our store. Our ice cream is made fresh, all on the premises.

We are committed to being green, and try our best to be an eco-friendly store by serving our products in recyclable and compostable serving cups and spoons.

Owner Karen Klemens is a graduate of Penn State’s legendary Ice Cream Short Course, the oldest, best-known and largest educational program dealing with the science and technology of ice cream.

She is also known for her Mothercluck line of small-batch, hand-crafted jams that honor the true taste of the fruit without using preservatives or other unnatural ingredients. She was awarded Best of Division for her strawberry jam at the 2010 Los Angeles County Fair. She is a graduate of the Master Food Preserver program of Los Angeles County, sponsored by the UC Cooperative Extension, where she was only one of 18 people who were accepted into the inaugural program.
